You can really save money on your electricity bill with this Timer Plug. I have used it to control the time my deep freezers comes on and off. I have programmed it switch my deep freezers on at 6am and off at 9pm every day this has reduce my electricity bill in a big way.
It also good for automation. For example I use it to pump water from my Well 20 mins in the morning and 20 mins in the evening daily. No need to worry about forgetting to pump water.
It can be used for Home Security. You can program it to switch your Radio or Tv on while you are not even in the house.
